Deborah Beblo designed and coded this informational website as a labor of love for her adopted city. It shows the contributions made by immigrants to the culinary landscape of New York City. The home page features a carousel of iconic New York foods and their parent establishments from the 19th century to the present. The website is completely responsive to varying browser widths. A custom-colored Google map with interactive pins indicates current food establishments selling the iconic foods of New York. Each pin opens to a modal containing an establishment’s location and website link. Click here to visit the website.
